On Tuesday, Aiken Department of Public Safety officers responded to 410 Date Palm Circle in response to a report of a man being stabbed.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the victim, 60-year-old Louis Farrell Siau III standing outside the residence, covered in blood. He had been stabbed twice: once on top of the head and once in the middle of the back. He informed officers that his wife had been drinking beer and wine that evening and had stabbed him with a kitchen knife during an argument over the remote control.
While the responding officer was attending to Siau's wounds, three more officers circled around to the back of the residence to gain entry. They found the kitchen door open and, after seeing Cynthia Siau (the wife) come into the kitchen from another room, entered the home and proceeded to place her under arrest.
While struggling with the officers, Mrs. Siau defecated on two of them.
Mrs. Siau is being charged with Attempted Murder.
Officers noted that both husband and wife were extremely intoxicated.
