Cause of Georgia doctor's death released

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. -

We now know the cause of death of a doctor found dead last weekend.

Richmond County Coroner Grover Tuten says 60-year old Charles Mann from Kathleen, Georgia, died as a result of strangulation and blunt-force injuries.

It is believed Dr. Mann was murdered at the home of 22-year old Glenn Vincent Riggs the Second. Mann's body was discovered in Spirit Creek at Willis Foreman Road.

Riggs is being held at the Richmond County Sherriff's Office facing charges of battery and murder.
