Richland County Sheriff's deputies say two brothers got into an argument over dinnerware and one brother ended up stabbing the other Sunday night.

Deputies were called to a home on Lakeridge Parkway just after 6 p.m. Sunday. Sergeant Curtis Wilson says 47-year-old Edward William Bright got into an argument with his brother over what dinnerware to use for their and the argument turned physical.

Bright is accused of stabbing his brother several times in the torso with a steak knife. Wilson says the victim's wounds were superficial and the injuries are not life-threatening.
