Suspect in Warrenville shooting arrested

WARRENVILLE, S.C. -

UPDATE: At around 7:19am Wednesday, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting on Pine Street in Warrenville. On arrival, deputies found 32-year-old Lacey Parker suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Parker was the ex-girlfriend of the suspected shooter, Todd Brown of Warrenville.

According to witnesses, Brown kicked in the front door of the residence and got into an argument with the victim. The argument ended outside the home, where witnesses reported hearing gunshots. Brown fled the scene before deputies arrived. Parker was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Brown has since been arrested and will be charged with Murder, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Burglary 1st Degree. The investigation is still on-going. Information will be released as soon as it becomes available.

Breaking news out of Warrenville, South Carolina.

One woman has been sent to the hospital after she was found shot in her front yard. Aiken County investigators say it happened at 548 Pine Street shortly after 7am. 1 man is in custody for questioning at this time.

Investigators say they believe it was a domestic dispute but it's still too early to tell.
